The Ashanti Regional Police Command has confirmed the detention of 21-year-old Daniel Tuffuor, a final-year student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), in connection with the tragic death of Joana Deladem Yabani.
Ms Yabani, in her final year pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, was discovered lifeless near the KNUST Disability and Rehabilitation Centre at approximately 5:00 a.m.
on 27th February, 2025.
The KNUST Security Services were the first to find her body and subsequently alerted the police.
