A mobile money vendor was brutally murdered on his way home from work at Manso-Asaman in the Ashanti Region The victim, Augustine Mensah, was ambushed by unknown assailants, stabbed, and later shot to death.
The attack occurred shortly after Mensah received a late-night call from a supposed customer requesting a transaction.
Moments later, he was found fatally wounded near the Danyame River.
Some residents believe he may have struggled with his attackers before his tragic demise, while others suspect he was deliberately targeted.
