Deputy Energy Minister-Designate, Richard Gyan Mensah, has described President John Mahama's recent State of the Nation Address as the most impactful he has ever witnessed, emphasizing the administration's commitment to revitalizing Ghana's economy and resolving the ongoing energy crisis.

In a conversation with Channel One News, Mensah praised Mahama for outlining the challenges his government inherited while providing clear assurances of his plans to reset the country.

He particularly addressed concerns about the persistent power outages, popularly referred to as dumsor, suggesting that external political interference may have exacerbated the situation. "I heard my colleagues make some remarks, especially regarding the issue of dumsor.

This is what I perceive: there was a deliberate plan by the NPP to ensure that President Mahama fails when he came to power," he remarked.
