FIFA has approved the Accra Sports Stadium as the host for Ghana's 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad in the March international break.
The Black Stars will take on Chad in their fifth World Cup qualifying match on Friday, March 21, 2025, kicking off at 19:00 hours.
Having put a disappointing African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign behind them where the Black Stars failed to qualify for the continent's most prestigious tournament for the first time in two decades, the Black Stars will now shift their focus to the 2026 World Cup, a competition where they are currently excelling in the qualifying phase.
The Black Stars have accumulated nine points from four matches, tying them with Comoros, although they currently occupy second place, boasting a record of three victories and one loss.
