The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is mourning the tragic passing of one of its students following an unfortunate incident on campus.
In an official statement, KNUST Management confirmed that Joana Deladem Yabani, a final-year Biological Sciences student, was found lifeless near the Disability and Rehabilitation Centre in the early hours of February 27, 2025.
University Security Services received the report at approximately 5:00 a.m., after which the body was transported to University Health Services, where she was confirmed dead.
The University has since informed her family and extended its deepest condolences.
