The New Juaben North Municipal Hospital, a key project under the immediate past government's Agenda 111 initiative, is set to become operational on March 3, 2025.
The 40-bed hospital, fully furnished and equipped, was commissioned by President Nana Akufo-Addo on December 5, 2024, but has remained closed since then.
Residents were worried about delays in operationalizing the hospital.
However, a visit to the facility on Tuesday, February 25, revealed painters and technicians putting the final touches in preparation for its official opening to the public.
