Ghana's build up to next month's FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar has received a significant boost with the arrival of Technical Advisor, Winfried Schaeffer.
Schaffer, who arrived in Accra on Monday night, was met on arrival by Black Stars Assistant Coach, Desmond Ofei. "The German tactician was appointed in January to provide technical guidance and oversee the development of football in Ghana.
His role also involves working closely with the Technical Directorate to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the GFA," a Ghana Football Association statement said.
With a managerial career spanning over 40 years, Schaeffer brings a wealth of experience to the Black Stars.
