Western Regional Minister Joseph Nelson has called on labour unions to join forces with the government and other stakeholders to enhance Ghana's working environment.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration between labour unions and the government to achieve harmonious industrial development Minister Nelson's appeal highlights the need for a unified approach to address the country's labour challenges. "What the TUC stands for I believe is noble, because your activities and mandate contributes to industrial harmony," he said.

The Minister praised the Trade Union Congress (TUC) for its vital role in protecting workers' rights and ensuring peace and stability in Ghana.

He made these remarks while meeting with Richard Hanson, the Acting General Secretary of TUC in the Western Region, who paid him a courtesy call to discuss the union's activities.
