Deputy Energy Minister-designate Richard Gyan-Mensah has dismissed claims that Ghana is experiencing a resurgence of "dumsor", the term for the country's past chronic power outages.
Speaking before Parliament's Appointments Committee on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Gyan-Mensah assured Ghanaians that recent power fluctuations do not amount to a full-blown energy crisis. "I want to assure my brother that 'dumsor' is not back.
