Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus has given a glowing endorsement of the FIFA World Cup, labeling it the "crème de la crème" of all football tournaments.
While the UEFA Champions League is the pinnacle of European club competition, Kudus firmly believes the World Cup is the "main event." Having competed in both competitions, the midfielder favors the World Cup over the Champions League.
The West Ham United winger had a taste of the World Cup three years ago when the Black Stars took to the pitch at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar while making his Champions League debut in 2020 at Johan Cruyff Arena against Liverpool.
Kudus, who was one of Ghana's standout players in the tournament, found the back of the net twice in three appearances, making his maiden World Cup outing a memorable one.
