The Minister of State-designate in charge of Public Sector Reforms, Ms Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba, has assured that she will leverage digital technology to eliminate corrupt practices towards improving the sector.
According to her, the use of technology would help ensure transparency and accountability and enhance productivity in the affairs and administration of the public sector.
Ms Akanvariba gave the assurance when she appeared before the Appointments Committee of Parliament in Accra yesterday.
She indicated that by strengthening the sector through training and capacity building, issues could be easily addressed through improved digital platforms.
