The Government of Ghana has announced a number of activities marking this year's Independence Day celebration.
A statement issued from the Presidency in Accra and signed by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, says the event will begin with the commemoration of the 28th February Crossroad shooting in Accra this Friday.
This would be followed by a nationwide quiz and nationwide debate competitions slated for March 2 and 4 respectively with the President's School Children awards ceremony scheduled to take place on March 5, 2025.
According to the statement, the 68th Independence Anniversary will be climaxed with a ceremonial parade on March 6, 2025 at the Jubilee House in Accra.
