The Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has launched a scathing criticism against Oman FM, a radio station sympathetic to the cause of the party.
His criticism followed a discussion on the station regarding the embattled Member of Parliament for Akwatia, Ernest Yaw Kumi, who has had a bench warrant issued for his arrest by the Koforidua High Court following his conviction for contempt of court.
The conviction stems from Kumi's decision to present himself for swearing-in as an MP despite a court injunction prohibiting him from doing so.
The discussion on the station's morning show criticized the handling of the issue by the party's national leadership as well as the leadership of the parliamentary caucus.
