NPP National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has strongly condemned the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) for summoning the party's Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe (Abronye), over his inquiry into the GH₵550 million allocated for newly recruited personnel under the Mahama administration.

In a statement sighted Nana B questioned the NIB's selective approach, pointing out that no action was taken when false allegations and attacks were made by members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against former President Akufo-Addo.

He noted that the NIB failed to act when NDC figures accused the former president of corruption, yet now, Abronye is being targeted for legitimately questioning government allocations. "If no one was summoned or arrested for making false accusations against Akufo-Addo, why is Chairman Abronye being invited just for raising valid concerns?" Nana B said.

The NPP National Organizer also expressed his frustration with the timing of the move, alleging that President Mahama and his allies are using the NIB to target former NPP appointees.
