Ghanaian rapper Tinny has finally spoken up about the mystery collaboration American rapper Ja Rule mentioned during his visit to Ghana earlier this year. In April, Ja Rule made headlines after revealing in an interview with JoyNews' Jacqueline Ansomah Yeboah that he once recorded a track with a Ghanaian artiste about a decade ago but couldn't remember the artist's name."You know, it's so funny to say that I did a record a long time ago with a Ghanaian artiste.
I have forgotten his name but this is like ten, fifteen years ago when I came over here.
And we recorded right here in their studio, and it was dope," Ja Rule said.
Shortly after the interview aired, an old video of Ja Rule and Tinny in a recording session resurfaced online, confirming the collaboration.
