Japhet Aryiku, the Executive Director of the W.E.B. Du Bois Museum Foundation, has refuted claims that the Ghanaian government has sold or leased the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre to the foundation for 50 years. These allegations were made by the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who accused the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration of handing over control of the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre to a newly incorporated private foundation with no track record, for a 50-year term.
