President is scheduled to commission the School Junction to Motorway Road project on Monday, August 26, 2024. The 5.8-kilometer road project, with service lanes running from School Junction to the Tema Motorway, will significantly enhance road infrastructure in the Greater Accra region. The project, which is being executed by Oswal Investments Limited, is expected to reduce travel time, lower transportation costs, mitigate flooding, and enhance road safety in areas such as Ashale Botwe, School Junction, Nmai Dzorn, and Borteyman, leading to the motorway. During a recent inspection of the project, the Minister of Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso-Boakye, expressed satisfaction with the progress made by Oswal Investments Ltd, a well-known Ghanaian construction firm. He explained that the involvement of a Ghanaian firm underscores the government's dedication to supporting local businesses and reiterated the government's commitment to repairing deteriorating roads, particularly in densely populated areas of the Greater Accra Region.
