The Bono Regional Chairman of the (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has recounted how former Minister of Finance, , allegedly blocked him and the late Central Regional Chairman of the ruling NPP, Robert Kutin Jr., also known as Chairman Kutin, from securing a government contract.
According to Abronye, the contract in question was awarded to them by the NPP's 2024 running mate, , popularly known as NAPO.
However, Ofori-Atta informed them that they could not proceed with it.
Abronye further alleged that the same contract, which Ofori-Atta denied them, was instead awarded to the son of Asante Bediatuo, the then Secretary to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
