The Director of Communications of the , Richard Ahiagbah, has publicly disclosed a directive from former President to appointees of government, urging them to comply with it.

According to him, the former president has directed all appointees to make themselves available for accountability to the ruling government and to assist with any investigations that may arise.

Ahiagbah reiterated Akufo-Addo's commitment to ensuring that appointees account for their actions and records while upholding the law, emphasising that all appointees are expected to meet the highest standards.

He assured that the appointees would be available to address any matters related to accountability. "Matters to do with accountability, our people will be here to answer them.
