The controversy surrounding former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta's legal woes has taken another turn, with legal scholar Professor Kwadwo Appiagyie-Tua weighing in on the matter.

The University of Ghana Law School professor believes that the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) may have acted hastily in declaring Ofori-Atta a fugitive.

On TV3's Agenda show, Professor Appiagyie-Tua described the situation as "dicey and tricky," emphasizing that the former minister's reported medical condition complicates the issue.

According to him, while legal proceedings must follow due process, medical concerns introduce an element of unpredictability.
