The Minister of Energy, John Abdulai Jinapor,  urged the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) to foster collaboration between the government and the private sector to enhance Ghana's energy sector and industrial growth.

The engagement, which took place on February 19, provided an opportunity for the AGI to express its concerns and expectations regarding energy policies and their impact on industries.

During the meeting, the Minister of Energy reaffirmed "government's commitment to working closely with the AGI to address industry-related energy challenges." Minister Jinapor assured AGI representatives that "the government recognises the vital role of industries in economic development and is dedicated to ensuring a stable and efficient energy supply to support your operations." He highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue between stakeholders to create a favourable business environment.

The engagement was seen as a significant step towards fostering cooperation between the government and the industrial sector.
