Minority Leader has disclosed that former Minister of Finance is expected to return to Ghana in May this year following a medical assessment abroad.
According to a report by myjoyonline.com, Afenyo-Markin made these remarks while addressing on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Afenyo-Markin stated that Ofori-Atta's legal representatives have been in contact with the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and confirmed his scheduled return.
He added that Ofori-Atta is willing to appear for an in-person interrogation upon his arrival. "The legal team of the former minister has been in communication with the OSP and has indicated that he is scheduled to return between May 14 and 30, 2025.
