Victory billboards erected by both Ewurabena Aubyn and Ekua Afriyie at Dansoman Junction have been destroyed, intensifying tensions in the Ablekuma North constituency as the final results of the parliamentary election remain unannounced.
Despite the Electoral Commission (EC) not declaring a winner, both candidates had prematurely put up billboards thanking voters for their victory.
The move came amid multiple delays in the collation process due to violence and disagreements, leaving Ablekuma North as the only constituency without a declared winner from the December 7 elections.
The prolonged uncertainty has fueled political anxiety, with some residents expressing concerns that the situation is stalling development in the constituency.
