The University of Ghana has rejected claims that the school took GHC 11 million from students and failed to provide them with a scroll holder and Medalion.
A statement from the school said the amount being put out was incorrect and falsely reported.
In all, 15,776 students graduated from the university and paid a graduation fee of GHC 500, which will amount to GHC 7,888,000.
Also, the decision not to give the graduates their scroll holder and medalion was because of procurement delays, indicating that the graduates were communicated to through a statement from the school assuring them of receiving them on a later date.
