The rerun of the North East Region Council of State Election concluded today, February 17 with the Chief of Kuba in the North East Region, Naa Saaka Abuba, emerging as the winner.
Abuba secured a total of 7 votes, surpassing his closest competitor, Asabigi San Malunga, who received 5 votes.
This outcome effectively resolves the previous tie that led to the necessity of the rerun.
