The National Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has reiterated government's commitment to hold officials of the erstwhile Akufo-Addo administration responsible for alleged corruption.
His comment emphasizes the NDC government's strong commitment to accountability, which was a major campaign message ahead of the 2024 elections.
In a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) Asiedu Nketia stated that former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta who has been declared wanted by the Office of the Special Prosecutor will not escape questioning noting that government will ensure his return to the country. "Wherever Ken Ofori-Atta is hiding, we will find him by all means.
He must avail himself for questioning on multiple cases.
