Some irate youth in Walewale have vandalised the vehicle of the North East Regional Minister , Tia Ibrahim over curfew imposition.
The incident occurred on Saturday night after residents and chiefs kicked against the curfew which has been imposed on Walewale township on Saturday, February 15.
It took military reinforcement to free the Minister who was unharmed.
The chiefs, youth and citizens of Walewale have voiced their discontent regarding the government's recent imposition of a curfew in the region.
