The Minister of Health, , has assured the public that the recent cholera outbreak in the country is under control.

As part of his campaign tour in some parts of the Central Region, the minister engaged with community members at Winneba on February 15, 2025, to educate them on the outbreak and preventive measures.

Speaking to the residents, he emphasised the importance of maintaining proper hygiene and keeping the environment clean to prevent the spread of the disease. "I know some of you won't do it, but to those who defecate openly and leave it in the community, this is one of the biggest causes of the disease.

We must put an end to this practice," he cautioned.
