The Minority in Parliament has raised concerns over the delayed nomination of the remaining four deputy ministers, warning that the prolonged wait is causing anxiety within the Majority Caucus.
Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin accused the government of dragging its feet, stressing that further delays could disrupt the vetting process. "We don't want a situation where we start the vetting and, at the tail end, something unexpected comes up.
The Leader of Government Business must encourage the Presidency to, as a matter of urgency, nominate these deputy ministers," he said.
He added that some prominent MPs are still awaiting appointments, fueling uncertainty among Majority members.
