Ladies and gentlemen, my attention has been drawn to the press conference of the new Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Dr.
Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, held on Wednesday, 12 February 2025.
At the press conference, Dr.
Ayine sought to provide reasons for his discontinuation of certain criminal cases filed against certain persons, most of whom were leading members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and persons who served in the NDC Government that exited office in January 2017.
