The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has come under scrutiny following its decision to classify former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta as a fugitive.
Weighing in on the issue, Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso and former Deputy Minister of Trade, Dr.
Stephen Amoah, has urged caution in making such declarations. "For the OSP to declare the former Finance Minister a fugitive is something I simply do not understand," Dr.
Amoah stated during an interview on Joy News. "Whether or not they have the legal authority to make such a declaration is unclear." His comments reflect growing concerns over the handling of corruption investigations, particularly in cases involving high-profile politicians.
