A mobile money vendor, identified as Patricia Nimako, has been shot and killed in a daylight robbery at Krofrom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The incident, which took place on the afternoon of Thursday, February 13, has left residents in shock and fear.
According to eyewitnesses, two men on a motorbike arrived at Patricia's shop under the pretense of conducting a transaction.
Moments later, they pulled out a weapon, demanded cash, and shot her twice before speeding off with an undisclosed sum of money. "We rushed her to Manhyia Hospital, but she was pronounced dead on arrival," Yaw Nsiah, an eyewitness, told Akoma FM's Kwame Yeboah.
