Charles Asiedu, the Member of Parliament for Tano South, has detailed how he struggled to secure a job after the (NDC) lost power in 2016.

According to him, he, along with his brother, had to lose their jobs because of their father, now the current chairman of the NDC, .

He explained that due to his father's affiliations with the NDC and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) winning power, he was rejected even by companies not under the government due to external threats and his father's name attached to him.

He added that he had to resort to becoming his father's driver.
