The state of roads infrastructure in Western Region is nothing to write home about.
This follows the deplorable nature road infrastructure in the area has assumed especially during the raining season.
Consequently, Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, has assured the chiefs and people of the region of government's commitment to remedy the situation.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday 11th February 2025, shortly after assuming office as Minister, Joseph Nelson mentioned few of the road networks in the region which he described as deplorable He said his administration would make road infrastructure as one of its priorities "I have a fair view of how the situation is" he acknowledged whilst taking responsibility to deal with the threats being posed on the roads. "People travel, they see, they feel and know the state of the roads" the Minister lamented.
