Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has said he has spoken to all the relevant stakeholders in the security sector including the Defence and Interior Ministers as well as the National Security Coordinator on the raid of the private residence of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
He stated that all the stakeholders have assured that this "regrettable and unfortunate'" incident will not recur.
Mr Ayariga said this after apologising to Mr Ofori-Atta following the raid of his private residence by men in military uniform on Monday, February 11.
Making a statement in Parliament on Thursday, February 13, he said "Yesterday, the deputy minority whip sort leaf of the speaker and the indulgence of the House to raise the matter that he thought was of urgent public importance. "He raised two issues, pertaining to some press conferences of the Special Prosecutor.
