Asante Kotoko Communications Director, Lawyer Samuel Sarfo Duku, has stressed the importance of their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup tie against Nigeria's Kwara United, describing it as a "very serious match." The Porcupine Warriors will host Kwara United in Kumasi between September 19 and 21, 2025, for the first leg of their preliminary round fixture, before travelling to Nigeria for the return encounter from September 26 to 28.
The draw was conducted on Saturday in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Kotoko, led by head coach Karim Zito, have named a 26-man squad currently training in Cape Coast as part of their preseason preparations.
