Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has said that his side of the House has no issue with the former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta being asked to render accountability.

He says all they want is for the state to use the right procedure in holding him to account.

Afenyo-Markin stated that if indeed Mr Ofori-Addo has done something wrong, he should be taken to court where his lawyers would have the platform to advance legal arguments. 'We are talking about the mode of the raid of the arrest, we are not saying that if the state has evidence against Ken Ofori Atta, you should try him.

If indeed there is an issue against him the state can try him then he can have access to his lawyers but you cannot accuse him that the man is guilty,: he said in Parliament on Wednesday, February 12.
