The Majority Leader in , , has condemned the raid at the residence of former Minister of Finance, , by security operatives.
Speaking on the Floor of on Thursday, February 13, 2025, he confirmed the involvement of Richard Jakpa in the operation. "So, Speaker, it is true that the private residence of the former Minister of Finance was entered into by operatives of the military and the police, led by somebody who we believe works at the National Security Coordinator's office.
