Political activist and ardent National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporter, Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, has reaffirmed his admiration for former President John Dramani Mahama, describing him as a genuinely good person whose leadership qualities he deeply respects. "Mahama is a good person, but as I have said before, even if I had the opportunity to meet him every day, I wouldn't do that," Appiah Stadium stated, emphasizing that his admiration for Mahama is not necessarily tied to frequent personal interactions but rather a deep-seated respect for his character and governance style.

Despite his reverence for the former president, Appiah Stadium admitted that he had recently made efforts to get closer to Mahama, not only to express his support but also to remind him of his presence.

According to him, being visible to Mahama is crucial, especially as discussions about political appointments take shape. "However, since I was in Accra, I had to get closer to him to remind him of my presence in case there was a job opportunity.

When I met him, he asked me to come to the Jubilee House, and I did.
