The E-Levy, Covid Tax, Emissions Tax and Growth and Sustainability Tax are legitimate candidates for abolition in the 2025 Budget, the Director of Research at the Institue of Economic Affairs (IEA) Dr John Kwakye has said.
However, the economist expressed the view that, for revenue and deterrence purposes, the Betting Tax deserves to be maintained.
He urged the Mahama administration to seriously exploit e-commerce tax.
