The Ghana Water Company Limited has sacked all recruits employed in November 2024 and deployed to the various regions.
The suspension also affects all staff who are not on the payroll as of January 2025.
A letter signed by Acting Managing Director Adam Mutawakilu on February 11, 2025, announcing the suspension said the suspension is to allow for a comprehensive audit of the process leading to their engagement.
The directive comes after the Chief of Staff is said to have ordered the termination of all appointments after the December 7 elections.
