Three people were killed in Wulugu, North East Region, in an attack that police suspect is linked to the ongoing Bawku conflict.
The deceased, all men, were traveling on a bus from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to Garu in the Upper East Region.
According to police sources, the bus developed a fault, and as efforts were being made to fix it, armed assailants arrived on motorbikes and set it ablaze.
The attackers then pursued the fleeing passengers and fatally shot three on the spot.
