Felix Ofosu Kwakye has revealed why President John Dramani Mahama established the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team.

According to him, the president was overwhelmed with corruption complaints following his election victory, prompting him to take action. "The President was inundated with corruption reports," Ofosu Kwakye said on The Point of View on Channel One TV monitored by MyNewsGH. "Right after the election, President Mahama himself was overwhelmed with complaints and allegations." He explained the purpose of ORAL, saying, "So he said, 'Look, let me set up a system that we can use to receive these complaints, process them somewhat, so that when we take over power, we are then able to hand it over to the appropriate quarters to look into.'" According to him, ORAL received thousands of reports. "Over 2,400 complaints were received.

Over 1,400 phone calls came in, and over 900 emails were sent, containing all manner of information," he disclosed.

The government spokesperson assured that action would follow. "The report was presented to the President today, who then immediately handed it over to the Attorney General to look into," he said.
