Communications Minister, Samuel Nartey George is of the firm view that as Africa begins to digitize its services and e-government services, there will be a need for education for online presence.

He believes that there will be a rise in online fraud and personal identity theft, indicating that it will become a big pandemic.

Against this backdrop, the government of Ghana intends to train one million people in digital skills and coding to help address the issues that will arise as a result of digitization.

The Minister was speaking at the #AIActionSummit2025 in Paris when he made this known. "One of the key things we are doing is building a workforce.
