Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has assured Ghanaians that decisions that they will be taking will inure to the benefits of the people.
He said that deep thinking will be done to ascertain how the decision will benefit Ghanaians before they are taken.
Speaking on the KeyPoints on TV3 on Saturday, February 8, he said "I go into the office with a deep sense of respect for Ghanaian people." Regarding the decisions he will be taking, he said "We are going to ask how this decision will be in the interest of Ghanaians.
How will this decision ensure the livelihoods of Ghanaians are improved." During his vetting, Mr Ablakwa among other things, pledged to advocate for a formal presidential travel policy to regulate official trips undertaken by Ghana's Head of State.
