A 40-year-old disabled man has been lynched at Edumadze, a community within Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region, after being accused of stealing an amplifier.
According to reports gathered by GHOne News' Yaw Boagyan, the deceased, Joseph Acquah, popularly known as Akwesi, was suspected of stealing an amplifier used for a spinning machine at a funeral on Saturday, February 9, 2024.
Family members say Akwesi left home around 7:00 AM on Saturday and never returned.
Later, they received the shocking news of his death.
