Ghanaians on social media have heavily criticized Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Lydia Donkor following the emergence of new details about the tragic death of Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley.
Pooley met his untimely death on Sunday, February 2, 2025, after being fatally stabbed during a violent clash that erupted during 's game against Nsoatreman at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.
A scuffle between players of both teams escalated into a full-blown brawl in the stands as home and away fans clashed.
The death led to the , charging DCOP Donkor to lead the investigations as they sought justice.
