Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has said his side has officially withdrawn and will not take part in the probing by the Ad-hoc committee investigating the chaos on January 30, 2025.
Speaking on the floor of the House on February 7, the Effutu MP accused chairman of the ad-hoc committee of being bias in his actions on dealing with the matter.
He noted that his caucus has written to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin awaiting his arrival as he's currently out of the jurisdiction. "We've written to Mr speaker and we will respect his authority and wait for his arrival.
We would not be part of a one sided committee.
