The Convenor of the One Ghana Movement, Senyo Hosi, has voiced serious concerns regarding some of President John Dramani Mahama's recent state-owned enterprise (SOE) appointments, questioning the competence of certain individuals selected to manage key state institutions.
Speaking on The Big Issue on Channel One TV on Saturday, February 8, Senyo Hosi criticised the lack of a rigorous selection process for these crucial roles, emphasising that political affiliations should not take precedence over merit.
He argued that the appointment of individuals to manage state institutions must be guided by a strict interview process, ensuring that only the most qualified candidates assume leadership positions. "I look at his [John Dramani Mahama's] SOE appointments and I get concerned.
I was hoping that people should earn their place getting into those seats.
