In Ghana's Fourth Republican history, it is rare for ministerial nominees to be rejected by the Appointments Committee and denied a potential ministerial position.
For such an occurrence to take place, the reasons behind it must be of significant concern-possibly unpardonable or too serious to be overlooked by the committee, which holds the mandate to assess and determine the expertise and capabilities of nominees in handling and executing their roles, should they be appointed.
However, Reverend Dr.
Kwesi Owusu Bi made history as the only nominee to be outrightly rejected by the committee.
